Kent Blossom Art Summer Workshops

Type: Residencies, Workshops, Exchanges [View all]
Posted by: Kent State University School of Art
Deadline: Fri, April 28th, 2017

Kent Blossom Art is a series of two-week intensive art workshops conducted each summer at Kent State University by resident School of Art faculty and an exciting array of visiting artists. Each workshop is specific to one medium: painting, sculpture, print media, ceramics, and textiles. (Offerings change annually.) Kent Blossom Art provides undergraduate and graduate students with two weeks of focused learning, experimentation and creation under the guidance of experienced artists from around the country who also present public talks on their work. This year's visiting artists include John Dilg, Sascha Braunig, Karyn Olivier, Aristotle Georgiades, Matt Wedel, Sunshine Cobb, Enrique Chagoya, Anita Jung, Cathryn Amidei, and Marianne Fairbanks. Visit http://www.kent.edu/art/kent-blossom-art for more information and to apply online. Apply by 4/12 for painting and sculpture, 4/28 for all others.
Contact Alyssa Pryor with any questions - apryor3@kent.edu or (330) 672-1352.
