This is a call for participation by the International Center for the Arts of the Americas (ICAA) in its 2017 edition of the Peter C. Marzio Award for Outstanding Research in 20th-Century Latin American and Latino Art. A prize of $2,500 will be granted to a graduate student, and $1,000 to an undergraduate (or honorable mention) student, who each produce outstanding academic papers based on the primary-source materials available from the digital archive Documents of 20th-century Latin American and Latino Art and its companion book series, Critical Documents of 20th-Century Latin American and Latino Art. The papers will be reviewed by an award committee composed of members of the Editorial Board of the Documents Project. The two selected papers will be published in an upcoming number of the ICAA Documents Project Working Papers series, which is available on the ICAA Documents Project website.

Our current issue,  ICAA Documents Project Working Papers no. 4, features essays from Aimé Iglesias Lukin (Rutgers University) and Paola Uribe (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México).
