In thinking about various situations where I didn’t say something -- for whatever reason: maybe it wasn’t polite, maybe I was too afraid, maybe I didn’t have the words yet -- thoughts of “what if” and "how things could have been different" enter my mind.
While I can’t go back in time, I can say them now; and so can you.
