Spoken Word/ Performance Art Open Call

 

The Middle Tennessee State University Todd Art gallery will be hosting a Spoken Word Performance and Video event on Saturday, February 24th 2018.  The Department of Art and Design is now accepting proposals from students, emerging, and mid-career artists whose art practice is concerned with performance, text, and spoken word. The performances will be scheduled between 11-2 pm on the 24th, around the Todd Building on MTSU’s campus, with videos playing on monitors concurrently.

 

Performances should relate indirectly or directly to text, communication, education, socio economic inequities, literacy, or spoken word. 

 

Proposals should include your project description, duration of performance or video and technical requirements. Submissions are free.
