The KeyBank Museum Fellowship at the Toledo Museum of Art (TMA) has been established to promote and develop diversity in the museum industry and specifically provides a year-long paid fellowship to diverse candidates pursuing a career in the museum, arts, or related industry. This unique experiential program provides recent graduates with the career mentorship, interdisciplinary experience and training necessary for a career in the museum field. The Fellow will be provided with a project(s) aligned with their career interests and given direct exposure to the strategic planning process, curatorial and program management , board development, financial and resource management, policy development along with building partnerships across the industry and community.

REQUIREMENTS:The Toledo Museum of Art invites applications from candidates who have completed their undergraduate studies within the last five years and are pursuing a career in the museum field, arts, or other related field and who are of African American, Hispanic or Asian descent. The Fellow must have a demonstrated interest in further developing their career in the field and be committed to the Toledo Museum of Art for the full year long duration of the appointment.

COMPENSATION: The fellow will be given an annual salary, housing, plus benefits, 4 weeks paid time off, travel and research support. Office space, along with support for equipment and association memberships will be provided.
