Northville Art House is pleased to announce the House of Wax Juried Encaustic Competition to be held August 3 – 25, 2018. This is an open juried call for encaustic, hot wax, and/or cold wax artwork juried by Detroit area encaustic and mixed-media artist Candace Law with $750 in cash awards. Artists, 18 and over, may submit a maximum of 3 works of art created primarily in encaustic, hot wax, and/or cold wax within the last 2 years, and not previously exhibited at the Northville Art House. The maximum size of all artwork is 44” in any direction, including the width of the frame for 2D work. Submitted artwork is preferred to be for sale, 35% commission taken. All entries MUST be submitted by Friday, June 1, 11:59 PM EST.
