In fall 2018 the Sonoran Desert Inn and Conference Center, members of the Alliance of Artists Communities, is piloting a new two-week artist residency.  The residency is located in Ajo, Arizona, a rural community in the middle of the Sonoran Desert.  More information about the residency, application and FAQ can be found here.
