Whether you are currently working in the arts or considering a career change, these non-credit courses will provide you with a solid foundation in the managerial, fundraising, marketing, and financial skills necessary to succeed in the competitive world of arts organizations. This certificate is ideal for both practicing and aspiring arts professionals as well as artists, performers, and others exploring or looking to advance in careers in arts management.

You will learn about:

-The history and structure of arts organizations in the U.S,

-The relationship between arts organizations and the communities they serve

-Financial management and fundraising techniques

-21st century trends and challenges for arts organizations

-The process of strategic planning and working with boards

-How to market to different audiences

You can take a course individually, or complete the full 6-course program at your own pace within 3 years to receive a Certificate from NYU. The cost per course is $650.
