The Knox College Department of Art and Art History is seeking applications for Artist in Residence during spring 2019. This teaching residency, supported by a grant from Galesburg-based Blick Art Materials, has a two-fold mission: to enrich the educational experience of students through exposure to artists whose perspectives and ways of working are not represented by regular faculty or curricula. Artists with interest in engaging economically, culturally, and racially diverse communities through their work are especially encouraged to apply. Knox College particularly welcomes applicants from under-represented groups.
