Interdisciplinary Journal of Signage and Wayfinding

DEADLINE: April 1, 2019

PUBLICATION: June 30, 2019

The Interdisciplinary Journal of Signage and Wayfinding seeks to provide a forum where scholars from a variety of academic disciplines (such as law, planning, engineering, business, art, economics, architecture, landscape architecture, industrial design, and graphic design) may publish their scholarship dedicated to wayfinding and the importance of effective signage. 

Authors must submit their work no later than Apri1 1, 2019.  Articles from all disciplines will be considered for publication, and as such, the journal will contain both academic articles and reports prepared by practitioners. Authors will be expected to utilize the writing and citation conventions appropriate for publication in their discipline.  

The content of each article will be subject to double-blind peer review.  The editor will assign articles received to academics and/or practitioners in the related field of study.  These reviewers include, among others, the members of the Academic Advisory Council for Sign Education and Research.  Please upload submissions at:  ijsw.shareok.org.  Questions should be sent to Dr. Dawn Jourdan at dawnjourdan@tamu.edu.
