ARTIST - IN - RESIDENCE - ARKANSAS TECH UNIVERSITY

 

Arkansas Tech University is seeking an Artist in Residence to create a mural on panels that will be installed on the exterior of the Davis Building in downtown Russellville, Arkansas. A design reflecting on the geographic region or community is strongly encouraged.

Qualifications include a practicing visual artist with experience producing large scale paintings and a masters degree with an ability to teach one course in either 2D design or intro to drawing at the University.

Residency Term: January 6, 2020 - May 30, 2020

Stipend: $25,000

Supply Budget: $5,000

Housing: an apartment on campus will be provided

Studio Space: a large studio space near campus will be provided for painting
