Artlink is pleased to present the annual, juried regional exhibition 2020. Artists working in all mediums from the Midwest states of Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, and Kentucky are encouraged to enter this exhibition. Artwork must have been created within the last two years and have not been previously exhibited at Artlink. Artwork must be original, reproductions will not be accepted.
Jurors:
Sayaka Ganz and Christopher Ganz
Sayaka Ganz was born in Yokohama, Japan and grew up living in Japan, Brazil, and Hong Kong. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from Bowling Green State University (BGSU) in Bowling Green, Ohio. Her recent exhibitions include: “Danze Della Natura” – solo exhibition at the Hermann Geiger Foundation in Cecina, Italy, and “Metamorphosis” – temporary installation at the Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha, Nebraska. Her commissions include a series of marine life sculptures for the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California and a permanent installation of an underwater scene featuring whales and turtles in the lobby of Cimer Spa at the Paradise Resort in Incheon, Korea.
Christopher Ganz is an associate professor of drawing and printmaking at Purdue University Fort Wayne. Ganz received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1995, and a Master of Fine Arts from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2001. His work has been displayed across the nation and at international art fairs in Chicago and New York, and his work is represented by Gallery Victor Armendariz in Chicago.
Awards
Cash awards (amount TBA) will be selected by the jurors. In addition to a cash reward, one artist will be offered a solo exhibition in 2021. Entry Fee The entry fee of $10 per entry, with an unlimited number of submissions. Payment for entry can be made online or by check made payable to Artlink.
