Contributions are sought for a special issue of Profils Américains (http://www.profilsamericains.blogspot.fr/), a biannual journal in English published by Montpellier University, France, entirely devoted to Patti Smith’s artistry.
More specifically, we are looking for contributions focusing on:
• Patti Smith’s later production (post Dream of Life), and more particularly, her latest album (Banga) and books (Auguries of Innocence, Just Kids, The Coral Sea).
• Her visual arts production (photography, painting, drawing) and her artistic connection with Robert Mapplethorpe.
Deadline for proposals: October 30th, 2012.
