The City of Evansville and University of Southern Indiana invite sculptors and sculpture collaborations to submit works/proposals to Sculpt EVV —a juried outdoor sculpture show, opening June 15, 2013, and closing April 20, 2014. Successful applicants receive $1,200 installation stipends for each artwork installed and are eligible for: $20,000 purchase award, $10,000 best-in-show, $5,000 2nd place, $1,000 3rd place and $500 people’s choice. Sculpt EVV will congratulate the award winners in a full page color ad in Sculpture Magazine (see September 2012) and list the other artists in the show. The 2013-14 juror is: Lisa D. Freiman, senior curator and chair of the Department of Contemporary Art, Indianapolis Museum of Art.
