Peaceable Kingdom invites artists to investigate our storied and rich relationship with the animal world. The exhibition will explore the ways in which animals have been a presence in the visual arts as metaphors, totems, objects of fear, and sources of emotional attachment and affection.

Jurors:
Stephanie Cannizzo, Assistant Curator at the Berkeley Art Museum
Cathy Kimball, Executive Director and Chief Curator of the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art

awards: $5,000 in cash awards, plus prizes to be selected by jurors.

Eligibility: Open to all artists in the United States, 18 years of age or older. Entries must be original work completed within the last three years.

Media: Open to all media

Fee: $35 for 3 images
