CAA, in partnership with Columbus College of Art and Design, will present a National Professional-Development Workshop for Artists on Saturday, November 10, 2012. Called “Art and Entrepreneurship in the Creative Community,” the event will explore the necessity of entrepreneurship coexisting with creativity.
“Art and Entrepreneurship in the Creative Community” will take place 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. An open-studio reception for all participants for networking and sharing is scheduled for 5:30–7:30 PM. The sessions take place at the Canzani Center on the college campus at 60 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215. Registration is free for CCAD students and faculty; $35 for all other participants. Lunch is not included and can be purchased across the street at the market. A limited number of stipends are available for those who register in advance.
