Design Cloud Gallery is launching its first Curators LAB. It is a two-week laboratory for emerging curators with the purpose of providing a comprehensive curatorial education while giving real world experience. In a fast paced intensive, both educational and experiential, each participant will enhance their curatorial career by engaging in critical dialogue about Curatorial Practice, through networking, and in curating their own show. Recognizing that there are few opportunities in Chicago for emerging curators to receive practical training and guidance while also working, our LAB is targeted toward self-motivated individuals who would benefit from a week of intensive conversations pertaining to process, practice, and questions that arise for curators in the Contemporary Art Scene.
