The Wolfsonian–Florida International University, a museum and research center promoting the study of modern visual and material culture, announces its fellowship program for 2013-14. The program supports research on The Wolfsonian’s collection for periods of 3 to 4 weeks, and is open to holders of masters or doctoral degrees, Ph.D. candidates, and others who have a significant record of professional achievement in relevant fields. The collection focuses on the decorative arts, propaganda, architecture, and industrial and graphic design from the period 1885–1945, primarily from the USA, Great Britain, the Netherlands, and Germany. Applicants are encouraged to discuss their projects with museum staff prior to submission to ensure the relevance of their proposals to The Wolfsonian’s collection. Visit www.wolfsonian.fiu.edu, call 305-535-2613, or email https://www.wolfsonian.org/research-library/fellowships for more information. Applications must be postmarked by 31 December 2012.
