Wintertide, the season that captures short days and long nights, has symbolized death, isolation, hibernation, rest, and reflection. The winter holidays have symbolized hope, peace, selfless giving, and relationships. Artists have depicted this season and its dichotomy of emotions throughout the ages. The FAC is looking for artwork that reflects contemporary artists interpretation of the winter season.

Open to all US artists that work in 2D or 3D. No entry fee, but there is a $10 hanging fee for accepted artwork, paid on delivery of artwork. A commission of 30% of each sale is donated to FAC; artwork does not have to be for sale.

Send by email or mail the following items by the deadline of November 13, 2012:
1. jpg file of artwork; include last name and title in file name
2. completed and signed entry form found on website http://www.hsfac.org
