Rockford Projects seeks innovative artworks for the inaugural artCURATED sector of ArtFTL 2019.
ArtFTL returns for the 3rd year as the premier art fair in Fort Lauderdale, drawing collectors during the height of the season in South Florida. Fort Lauderdale is known as the "Venice of America" due to its expansive and intricate canal system, and this 4-day curated art fair showcases the art within luxury waterfront properties. Attendees are transported via complimentary water taxi on an artistic journey along the famed Intracoastal waterways, in the heart of the arts and entertainment district.
The ArtCURATED sector will encompass an entire property of 5,000 to 10,000 square feet, and feature 40+ artists, within six distinct, thematic exhibitions, under the direction of Lisa Rockford.

Dates of Exhibition: January 24 – 27, 2019.

Curator Statement
I am thrilled to utilize this unique exhibition format as an opportunity to curate several connected themes within a gorgeous property, and share a sampling of some of the most innovative emerging artists with collectors and art aficionados.
I was drawn to be a part of this art fair because of its unique format. It is refreshing that Art FTL began as a grassroots effort, with a common goal to offer opportunities to under-represented artists--artists who deserve recognition, but may not have access to important collectors.
The fact that the fair is on the water is extremely appropriate for South Florida. For attendees to arrive on boats will give them a meaningful and revitalizing connection with the most beautiful part of our unique landscape, before viewing equally inspiring artworks. I believe that this exclusive experience, with the opportunity to see inside some of the most beautiful local architecture, will continue to draw more visitors from outside of South Florida. –Lisa Rockford
