Prefix Photo’s call for submissions deadline is quickly approaching! Submit your work by July 1, 2019 for consideration in the fortieth issue of Prefix Photo magazine.

Prefix Photo is an engaging magazine that seeks to represent the breadth of practices and concepts that surround the transformation of light into image. Each issue presents the work of emerging and established Canadian and international artists and analyses the ideas, issues and contexts that inform the reception of their work.

Prefix Photo encourages submissions of new or previously unpublished photographic, media and digital art for editorial consideration. Proposals from young and emerging artists and from artists from all cultural and regional communities are particularly encouraged.

Submissions should include the following:

• up to 20 digital image files numbered and labeled with your name and title of the work (1024 x 768 pixels, JPEG, max 500K)
• an image list
• a written description of the project
• a curriculum vitae
