Sculptors and installation artists are invited to submit entries into the national juried 1st Annual First City Public Sculpture Exhibition of large-scale public sculpture to be installed in the city of Vincennes, Indiana. Accepted artists will loan their work for a period of three years. All works entered must be for sale, and sales will be encouraged. Artists will retrieve any unsold work at the end of the exhibition. Artists will receive a $1500 honorarium to help defray costs of transportation and installation.
This exhibition is made possible in part by the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana, the Indiana Arts Commission, Duke Energy, and the City of Vincennes.
