Juror: Nancy Mitchnick
Nancy Mitchnick is a painter and educator who began as a Cass Corridor artist. She taught art for over 25 years at Bard College, California Institute of the Arts, and Harvard University. As an artist, she received a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Pollock Krasner Foundation grant, and a National Endowment for the Arts Award. Her paintings are found in several museums in the US.
All Media Accepted.
Limit 3 entries per artist.
Entered pieces must not have been exhibited with Hatch previously.
Entries will be judged from digital files. Images should be about no larger than 2MB. DO NOT include your name in the digital file name.
Multimedia submissions: Artists must supply the necessary equipment to display their work in the gallery. We are also accepting installation proposals for The Jail Cell.
All artwork must be for sale. Hatchwill take a 30% commission from artwork sold during the exhibition.
Hatch does not charge an entry fee for this annual juried exhibition. If you are in a position to do so, please consider making a donation. Your generosity is critical to Hatch Art. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and we depend upon community support. Any amount is greatly appreciated!
You will be notified of the juror’s decisions by email by Wednesday, March 15.
