Stiwdio Maelor offers selected artists and writers time and space out of their normal life to focus on the development of their work and explore the beautiful landscape of mid Wales. Residencies provide artists and writers the experience of working alongside other artists of different disciplines and at different stages in their careers.

Stiwdio Maelor is set a small village in a narrow valley in the Snowdonia National Park in Wales, UK. It is an ideal site for walking, running, sight-seeing and for the most important inspiration. The residency hosts up to four creatives at a time. Residencies are between 1 to 8 weeks. 

Maelor hosts a gallery and printmaker, Dr Veronica Calarco’s print studio.
