The Art Center of Waco has generously offered to host the Society for Photographic Education - South Central Chapter Juried Educator’s Exhibition during our 2017 conference. This exhibition is an opportunity to highlight our Chapter educators’ recent and extensive portfolios as a part of the South Central Chapter and as a result of our passionate commitments to the arts and photographic education.
The Art Center of Waco is a non-profit art gallery established in the 1970s in Waco, Texas. The mission of the Center is to promote the arts in Central Texas through exhibitions, collections, and educational programs. The center is situated in the historic William Cameron summer house on the campus of McLennan Community College in the Cedar Ridge neighborhood.
The juror this year is our Honored Educator, Deborah (Deb) Lillie. Lillie lives in Thibodaux, Louisiana, where she heads the photography program in the department of art at Nicholls State University.
