THE EXHIBITION

Far more than interest or mere enthusiasm, obsession speaks of one’s deeper nature.  This all-media exhibition asks artists to dig into true passion - when the significance of a subject becomes immersive. Obsession can take many forms.  Collections and intense repetition are common examples of how a single object made multiple is physical manifestation of an obsession.  No matter how the artist views their own, or others’ obsessions, this exhibition invites artists to display their own interpretation of this concept.

ENTRY FEE

Artists may submit up to three works for a non-refundable
processing fee of $35. Foundry Art Centre members may
submit up to three works for a non-refundable fee of $24.

JUROR

Carol Cunningham

Carol Cunningham is a visual artist and independent curator whose work investigates environments and consumption. Using her multimedia background, she focuses on the dichotomy between natural and artificial within the plant and animal kingdoms, often inviting viewer interaction.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to all artists 18 years & older, world-wide, both
amateur & professional, working in all styles & schools of
thought. This includes alternative and traditional artwork.
