Posted by: New Media Caucus
Deadline: Fri, December 14th, 2018
The tenth annual New Media Caucus Showcase will be held during CAA 2019 on Thursday evening, February 14th at the Hunter MFA Building, 205 Hudson Street, New York, NY 10013.
The NMC showcase is a series of rapid-fire presentations by 16 NMC members (6 minute presentations). It has proven to be an excellent forum to get to know the work of a fellow members in a lively atmosphere, and a wonderful way to present your work to like-minded individuals. Several spots are reserved for graduate students currently enrolled in an MFA or PHD program. How you use the 6 minutes is up to you – show one project or a dozen – finished or in-process work.
We publish a CAA conference edition of Media-N, the Journal of the New Media Caucus, that will include documentation of the NMC Showcase. Selected participants are asked to submit a statement and work samples.
This event is free and open to the public. No CAA registration is required.
