The theme for this year’s Mansion Show is “Boundaries.” Artists may use their own interpretation of the theme – political, personal, formal or otherwise.
CANO’s Mansion Show is an annual juried art exhibition open to all artists, styles and media. Artists may submit up to 3 works of art, which have not been previously shown at CANO. The selected artwork and award winners will be chosen by 2 outside jurors.
Entries: Artwork must be ready to display with hardware and hanging wire; sculpture must be freestanding or ready to hang. Work requiring special installation may not be accepted.
2-dimensional works: No larger than 48” x 48″ including frame.
Wall mounted sculpture: No larger than 36″ H x 36″ W x 12″ D (40 lb. weight limit)
Sculpture: no larger than 48″ H x 48″ W x 48″ D
Video & installation: subject to approval & space limitations. You must provide all equipment & operating instructions. Please email your inquiry prior to registration to canoexhibitions@gmail.com.
Entry Procedures: All entries must be submitted online or by email by May 12th. Image files should be saved as jpegs, at most 1920 pixels on the longest side. File names should be the entry number, dash (-), 3 artist’s initials, (example: 1-jfk.jpg). If you need assistance preparing files, please contact CANO.
-To apply online: Use link below. Fill in your contact information. Fill in information for 1-3 entries. Select Choose File to upload each entry image.
-To apply by email: send to canoexhibitions@gmail.com with the subject “Mansion Show Entry”. Include your name, address, email, & phone number. For each entry (1-3) include title, medium, dimensions (inches), and price (or NFS if not for sale). Attach jpeg image files for each entry. Please submit all requested items in one single email.
Entry Fees: $10 (CANO members) or $15 (non-members) due by May 12th. Payment may be submitted using the Pay Now button on the application webpage OR by sending directly through PayPal to admin@canoneonta.org OR you may mail your entry fee payable to CANO at 11 Ford Ave, Oneonta 13820.

Friday, May 31st (12-2 pm) & Saturday, June 1st (11-1 pm): Drop off of selected works
Friday, June 7th (5-8 pm): Opening Reception
June 7th – 23rd: Mansion Show exhibition on display
Sunday, June 23rd (3-6 pm) & Thursday, June 27 (12-6 pm): Pick up of artwork
