 FUTURIST: Sound Art Compilation

Deadline for submission: November 16, 2020.

Accepting submissions from female sound artists responding to the theme FUTURIST, (a person who studies the future and makes predictions about it based on current trends).

FMA seeks work that explores sound as a cinematic, spacial, textural, collaged, atmospheric, turbulent, and ambient environment. This is not a “music” compilation, though musical ideas can be present. Use of voice and improvisation are welcome but not required. Works should have been created in 2020.  

The compilation will be available as a free download on the Fem-Media-Art Bandcamp site.  Fore those interested in exposure and discography credits, this is a great opportunity! If you’re not comfortable with having your work downloaded for free, you may want to reconsider submitting.

Submission guidelines:

One submission per person. 

Works should have been created in 2020.

3. Short description:  (can include concept and your process)
