Posted by: Smarthistory
Deadline: Fri, April 15th, 2022
This series of free online conversations are conceived as practical, conversational webinars primarily for art historians (and those teaching in related areas) but are also open to the interested public. Each conversation involves one speaker leading a 15-minute talk about an object, monument, or site to walk attendees through how they could introduce this material in an undergraduate survey class or even reframe how they currently teach it. 10-15 minutes of Q&A follow the talk.
Please RSVP for each webinar on the Smarthistory Commons page, where the entire program is listed.
In brief, the program is:
9/22 The Parthenon with Dr. Rachel Kousser
10/6 The Master of Calamarca’s Angel with Arquebus with Dr. Orlando Hernández Ying
