Proposals for Fried Fruit 2024-25 Exhibition Cycle - Deadline – May 15, 2024

Fried Fruit Art Gallery is accepting proposals for solo, or two person shows in our cargo container gallery for the 2024-25 exhibition cycle. Fried Fruit is nestled in the Cargo District of Wilmington, NC.

In ONE email, please send the following to Madison Creech – friedfruitart@gmail.com

1.         2 - 5 Images of your proposed works. (if work is yet to be made, then provide past work samples along with sketches and/or renderings of the proposed work)

2.         Exhibition Proposal: Share your vision for the exhibition in a brief description (250 - 500 words)

3.         CV or Resume

Artists are responsible for shipping/delivering work to and from the gallery. There is a possibility to receive a $250 stipend for an artist talk or workshop at University of North Carolina Wilmington in conjunction with the exhibition. Please note interest in your application materials. Although we accept all types of work, we prioritize installation, experimental works, and/or community engaged works. 

Exhibition hours: Each exhibition will exhibit for approximately one month and will include an opening reception where patrons are invited inside the gallery. The exhibition can be viewed 24/7 through the glass windows. Viewing the work from inside the gallery is by appointment only.
