The Tri State Sculptors Conference Committee is seeking content for the 2024 Conference. 

The 2024 Tri State Annual Conference will take place in the newly renovated Simons Center for the Arts at the College of Charleston in Charleston South Carolina. Conference dates are Thurs, October 17th - Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024.

Tri State Sculptors invites proposals for anything from studio demonstrations to artist talks and panel discussions.

The College of Charleston sculpture studio has ample space for a variety of sculptural activities and presentations. This includes clay and plaster areas, metal fabrication, woodshop, installation spaces as well as computer aided fabrication like laser cutting and 3D printing.  The College will provide space, tables, chairs and a reasonable amount of materials for a workshop or demonstration.  

We would like to have a diverse variety of activities, so don’t be shy, send us your ideas!  Share your work! Show us your stuff!

In your proposal be sure to include what facilities, equipment, and/or support will likely be needed for the demonstration/presentation. Please also include how long your presentation would go, or if a demonstration, how long/ how many hours.

We are a network of Sculptors and Sculpture Enthusiasts who learn new skills together, share ideas,  collaborate on projects, exhibit together, and watch each other grow old.

Our organization was started in 1978 by sculptors in NC, SC, and VA; hence the name TriState.  Since then the organization has grown and currently represents a broader portion of the Southeastern US.  Anyone is welcome to become a member
