Coker University’s Cecelia Coker Bell Gallery in Hartsville, SC is currently reviewing applications for five solo exhibitions to be held in the 2025/2026 academic year. The gallery seeks to share exhibitions that will engage students and expand their understanding of art, while connecting them to regional, national, and international artists. All media, styles, and subject matter will be reviewed by the committee. Please direct any application questions to artgallery@coker.edu

 

Application deadline is November 1, 2024. Notifications to be emailed in early January. The gallery provides exhibiting artists $300 towards shipping/delivery and $200 for a gallery talk.

Interested artists should apply by uploading a single pdf to Dropbox.com and sharing access with Cecelia Coker Bell Gallery.

 

Please title the pdf file: artistname_2025.pdf and include:

1. Artist Statement 

2. Artist Biography

3. CV including contact information

4. List of web links including: solo artist page, gallery page, social media handles

5. List of images with descriptions: Title, Media, Dimensions, Year

6. 10 - 15 images* of work to be displayed in the 600 sq ft gallery

 

*images may include footnote links to videos if applicable
