Trans+ Virtual Centre of Excellence - Open to New Members
Type: Residencies, Workshops, Exchanges [View all]
Posted by: Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, UK
Deadline: Sat, March 1st, 2025
This is your invitiation to join the newly launched Trans+ Virtual Centre of Excellence (TVCE).
The TVCE is an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research and advocacy group that celebrates Trans+ lives through acts of hope, advocacy, activism, and lived experiences.
It has been formed by a collective of international scholars and researchers from within either academic institutes or who may be independent, but all are recognised world-leaders in their field. It also includes researchers who are aligned with Trans+ focused NGO’s from across the UK and North America and welcomes ECR’s whose imperative/research holds the potential to be world-forming.
Our collective intention is to produce new knowledge through working groups and collaboration; leading on initiatives toward public engagement and advocacy; and produce critical mass that benefits Trans+ lives.
With over 30 members already signed up from across the UK, Europe, Australia, USA and Canada so far we would love to hear from you!
If you would like to join us, please submit your expression of interest via: https://tinyurl.com/transvce (this is also where you can find out more).
Applications will be processed immediately with offers of membership sent out within 7 to 10 days.
New members are welcomed on a rolling basis up until March 2025 at the latest.
Please also take a moment of solidarity to share this news with your colleagues if you have capacity and time.
Thank you so much.
