CONFERENCE HOTEL 

It is strongly encouraged that you book your stay at the official conference headquarters hotel, the New York Hilton Midtown. We have negotiated the lowest discount rates available for a comparable standard of accommodations in the area. For students we have obtained rooms at a deep discount. We also have a very limited number of guest rooms available to reserve until October 31, 2022, at an advance reservation discount. Please note that CAA commits to a block of rooms at the hotel on behalf of its members and has a financial obligation to fill the block. Please help us to avoid potential penalties and control costs for future events by staying at the official conference headquarters hotel. 

We suggest you contact the hotel prior to your stay to obtain the latest information on the hotel procedures and policies for guests regarding cleaning and safety protocols the hotel has in place to ensure the safety of your stay. 

Reservations must be made no later than TUESDAY, JANUARY 24, 2023, to receive the conference discount rates.

To be eligible for the conference rates when calling, you must state that you are attending the CAA Conference. Please be sure to request a confirmation number or ask for a written confirmation by email.  

Reservations require a one night’s deposit, refundable up to 72 hours in advance.

When reserving by telephone you must mention you are requesting the group rate for the College Art Association 2023 Annual Conference.

PLEASE NOTE: A valid student ID card will be required when you check in upon arrival at the hotel to secure the discounted student rate. 

Student rooms each have two beds. 

A confirmation number will be provided during the reservation process, and will be emailed to you at the address you provide while making your reservation.
