Registration 

Join us at the CAA 113th Annual Conference, February 12–15, 2025, at the New York Hilton Midtown.  

This year’s program boasts over 300 sessions, workshops, and events. The conference will be held in person with a selection of hybrid sessions and events. You may attend the hybrid sessions remotely via the conference schedule or by taking a seat in one of the special hybrid rooms at the New York Hilton Midtown .  

Registrants can access session abstracts in the schedule. The Book and Trade Fair will be hosted in person February 12–15 at the New York Hilton Midtown and online February 13–April 12. Session content recorded during the conference will be available to registrants in the schedule after processing, through April 15. 

All-Access Registration 

All-Access paid Registration includes:  

  • All session access February 12–15 (in-person and hybrid sessions).  
  • CAA special events and conversations. 
  • All No-cost registration events.  
  • Book and Trade Fair (in person and online). 
  • Immediate access to session abstracts, as well as a downloadable version of Abstracts2025.pdf in the weeks leading up to the conference. 
  • All recorded content (viewable to AC2025 registrants until April 15, 2025).

Book and Trade Fair  

Book and Trade Fair registration is a low-cost option for access to the fair only (in-person and online formats).  

No-cost registration  

No-cost registration includes access to conference key events (Convocation, Annual Artist Interviews, Distinguished Scholar Session), CAA Committee and Affiliated Society Business Meetings, Workshops, Services to Artists Committee (SAC) programming and Student and Emerging Professionals Committee (SEPC) programming. Please note this no-cost registration permits access to only these programs and events.

REGISTRATION HOURS

October 12–February 15: Online registration available 24/7 until February 15. 

During the conference 

Wednesday, February 12: 8 a.m.–6 p.m ET  

Thursday, February 13: 8 a.m.–6 p.m. ET  

Friday, February 14: 8 a.m.–6 p.m. ET  

Saturday, February 15: 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m. ET  

* Onsite Registration/badge pickup on Second Floor Promenade at the New York Hilton Midtown    

* A “participant” is a conference attendee participating in a scheduled session, usually as a chair, presenter or discussant.  

IMPORTANT NOTES 

To be sure you are served the participant or member rate, enter the email associated with your CAA account when registering. 

CAA Annual Conference registration is not refundable.

  • Making the most of over 300 conference sessions , plus workshops. Registrants can create your custom schedule by searching for topics and scholars.
  • Browsing the Book and Trade Fair, meeting press representatives, browsing the newest books in art and art history, art supplies, educational tools, and more!  
  • Enjoying food, drink, and amenities at the New York Hilton Midtown including Wi-Fi throughout the building.  

With your all-access registration, as virtual/remote attendee, or in person, your registration provides:  

  • Access to all session and presentation abstracts.  
  • Access to over 60 live hybrid sessions and events (some convened in Zoom others on location in New York City).  
  • Ability to connect (through your profile in the schedule) with session participants and CAA leadership  

After the conference dates, registrants can: 

  • Watch recordings of sessions you might have missed (and after captioning and processing, access based on your registration type). Recordings are available after posting through April 17, 2025.
    • Please note this applies only to  presentations that CAA was granted permission to record. Your best bet is to attend sessions live.
